Summary: Price might seem high; however, Mizuno has really outdone themselves with the release of the Wave Prophecy 3.

Fantastic shoe.

Mizuno has taken their line of Wave Prophecy running shoes to an entirely new level with the introduction of the Wave Prophecy 3. The Wave Prophecy 3 is superior to its predecessor in every way, offering increased comfort, support and, through the use of their U4ic foam technology, Mizuno has managed to drop the weight of the shoe and increase flexibility.

The Wave Prophecy 3 is a truly outstanding running shoe. I went to the store down the street to take them for a little jog down the aisle and I fell in love with them the moment I put them on my feet. Both light and comfortable, they offer incredible support and shock absorbency. In addition, the shoe has a pretty freaky design which I really dig; although, they could have probably offered the shoe in more colors.

These shoes are nearly perfect with the exception of two sticking points. The first is a fairly minor point that a buddy of mine told me about. Apparently, things can get a bit slippery on wet pavement. The second point isn’t so minor and that is the price which is actually fairly significant.

If you are in the market for some new running sneakers and have a couple of dollars in your pocket then I highly recommend that you consider Mizuno’s Wave Prophecy 3. Truth be told, if it wasn’t for the fact that I am a freak for minimalist shoes, I’d have bought myself a pair.
